Hercules: This is our boat to Gili Islands
It's a long 1hr to the islands by boat ...
Sleeping jacQ: very wrapped up under the sun, like a tortilla ^^1st stop: the biggest of the 3 islands, Gili T. Personally, I don't find the place so 'paradise', as mentioned in the books. Many dead corals that poked the feet. Water clarity comparable to other islands in M'sia/ Thailand. I prefer Perhentian ^^ And it's really HOT!!
On the islands, no motor vehicles are allowed, and transport are by foot, bicycle or horse-drawn carriage; this's the only novel idea about the islands =.=" food are not cheap, nor were they fantastic. But their architectures are quite chic though.2nd Stop: Gili M... the 2nd biggest of the 3 islands... we had lunch & just lazed around. The gals discovered baby starfish near the shore (could hear their high-pitched squeak from where we sat -.-'')
We did nothing at Gili M... time to return to Lombok... on the way, we caught a glimpse of the sunset at sea (:

We had a hard time finding it... Alberto's was hidden by a mean-looking slope. Then the whole group was waylaid by this burger store.
After burgers, our manpower reduced by 50% as the people got sleepy & decided to head back to hotel. But for the few of us who persevered - liJEN, vik, marco, tara_tang, Yuen Simin, jacQ & me - we found paradise @ Alberto's.
Lucky us, we managed to get the cafe's free pick-up service which drove us over the slope and right to the cafe - in style ^^
It's set by the beach & we could have sands in our toes as we sat to dine ((:

The happy group who discovered paradise @ Alberto's12am: time to drag our tired feet to ferry terminal (now my face turns really-really green when I hear "car ferry"). Another hellish 4hrs back to Bali island for the rest of our R&R *faintz*
